With mixed emotions I can report that the tenth and last piece in the suite, called Our War, has been composed, arranged, a studio recording made and now handed over to the choirs to rehearse.
By mixed emotions I mean that after working on this project for over a year it is a relief to finally complete the works. But I feel a little saddened that there is no further space to write just one more piece to add to the story. However, I can report that Our War has been composed to capture the drama of an opening, with an imaginary flyover, seeing the village life before we focus on the conversation of the newly enlisted soldier talking to his loved ones of his decision to play his part in the war.
I shall post a excerpt from the studio recording shortly.
